Brand Jaguar
Hub Nut - Rear retains the rear hub assembly on the axle shaft.

It sets and holds the bearing stack in place at the outer end of the rear hub carrier. Because it controls bearing preload and end float, it must be tightened to the specified torque and secured by its locking method on assembly.

Hub nuts are a single-use item and should be renewed whenever the hub is disturbed.
Fitment Notes JAGUAR — Rear hub nut. Fits XJ 1995-1997 (X300), XJ (X308), XJ6 & XJ12, XJS, XK8 Coupe/Convertible

Frequently asked questions

What does the JZN100035 rear hub nut do?
This nut retains the rear hub assembly on the axle shaft and sets the bearing preload at the outer end of the rear hub carrier. It controls bearing preload and end float, so it's tightened to a specified torque and secured by its locking method on assembly.
Can the rear hub nut be reused when servicing the hub?
No, treat it as single-use. Renew the hub nut whenever the rear hub is disturbed, since reusing a nut that's already set its locking feature risks the bearing preload moving in service.
Which Jaguar models take this rear hub nut?
Fits the Jaguar XJ 1995-1997 (X300), XJ (X308), XJ6, XJ12, XJS, and XK8 Coupe/Convertible.
How many rear hub nuts are needed for a job?
Typically one per side, so order two if you're servicing both rear hubs. Each nut is fitted individually to its own hub assembly.
