Wheel Bearing Kit - sealed hub bearing unit for the wheel bearing assembly.

The bearing is retained in the hub carrier and supports the rotating wheel hub, carrying the vertical, cornering and braking loads while allowing the hub to turn freely. It is a sealed, pre-greased and pre-set unit that is not serviceable once fitted, so it is renewed complete rather than repacked or re-shimmed.

The same bearing is used at front and rear hub positions depending on the application. The axle nut is a non-reusable item and must be renewed on reassembly, and the bearing should be drawn into the carrier with the correct press tooling - driving it in with impact damages the raceways and shortens its life.
