It carries coolant from the cylinder head outlet into the cooling system hoses. Fitted to 2.0-litre diesel Ingenium engines (AJ200, AJ20D4 and AJ21D4).

The water outlet tube fits at the cylinder head outlet on the AJ200 diesel engine, joining the head to the coolant hoses. It is part of the engine cooling circuit and routes hot coolant away from the head toward the radiator and heater circuit.
Why would the water outlet tube need replacing?
A water outlet tube is typically replaced when it cracks, corrodes or leaks at the cylinder head connection, shown as coolant loss and possible overheating. On the AJ200 diesel a weeping outlet often appears as residue around the head. Renewing it restores a sealed coolant path.
