Genuine Part
Genuine: Original manufacturer part. This product is the original part designed and produced by the vehicle manufacturer.
Cabin pollen filter for the heater and air conditioning blower housing.

It sits in the HVAC air path upstream of the blower motor, trapping dust, pollen and airborne particulates drawn in from outside before they reach the evaporator and the cabin vents.

A blocked element restricts airflow through the heater and air conditioning system, reducing vent output and loading the blower motor. Replace at the scheduled service interval, and more frequently where the vehicle is used in dusty conditions.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cabin pollen filter and what does it do?
The cabin pollen filter sits in the heater and air conditioning air path, upstream of the blower motor. It traps dust, pollen and airborne particulates drawn in from outside before they reach the evaporator and the cabin vents, keeping the incoming air clean.
Which vehicles does it fit?
This cabin pollen filter fits the Discovery 5 2017+ (Nitra plant build from VIN L2426463) and the New Defender L663 2020+ across all variants. Confirm your build where a VIN break applies, since the Discovery 5 filter is tied to the Nitra-built cars.
What are the signs the pollen filter needs changing?
A blocked pollen filter shows as weak airflow from the vents, misting that's slow to clear, and a musty smell from the air conditioning. A clogged element also makes the blower motor work harder. It's worth changing more often if the vehicle is used in dusty conditions.
Is it a DIY job to replace?
Replacing the cabin pollen filter is typically a straightforward job, usually reached through an access panel in the HVAC housing without special tools. Fit it the correct way round following the airflow arrow on the frame so the filter seats and seals properly in the housing.
