Exhaust Manifold Gasket - seals the joint between the exhaust manifold and the cylinder head on the 2.0L four-cylinder AJ200 turbo diesel.

The gasket maintains the seal at exhaust gas temperature and pressure where the manifold collects from the head and feeds the turbocharger, and incorporates a heat shield section shielding surrounding components from radiated manifold heat.

It is a single-use item and must be renewed whenever the manifold or turbocharger is disturbed. A failed gasket gives an exhaust leak at the head face, a ticking or blowing noise that rises with load, and loss of boost pressure.
