Engine mounting bracket for 3.0L six-cylinder petrol applications - supercharged DOHC GDI V6 and AJ20P6 Ingenium.

The bracket bolts to the side of the engine and carries the engine mount that ties the powerplant into the vehicle structure, transferring engine weight and torque reaction while the mount itself absorbs vibration and movement. The same bracket serves both the left- and right-hand engine mounting positions.

Brackets are renewed when distorted or cracked, or where corrosion at the mount interface prevents the mount fasteners from being torqued correctly. Because the bracket carries the full mounting load, the engine must be supported from above or below before it is unbolted.
