About Oil & Fuel Treatments

Additives and treatments do the work between services. This collection covers engine oil treatments that protect moving parts and reduce wear, and petrol and diesel fuel system cleaners that clear injector and combustion deposits and support cleaner running. Oil treatments are stocked in sizes from 0.25 litres up to 20 litres for everything from a single car to fleet and workshop use. These are supplements to a proper service, not a replacement for the right servicing oil and filters, and they sit within our wider workshop cleaning and consumables range.

Choosing the right treatment

For engine protection, add an oil treatment in proportion to your sump capacity as stated on the label. For fuel system care, match the cleaner to your engine: a diesel fuel and exhaust cleaner for diesel models, and Cataclean petrol fuel system cleaner for petrol engines. Cataclean is a widely used catalytic converter and fuel system cleaner that helps shift the injector, valve and exhaust deposits behind rough running and failed emissions checks. Diesel particulate filters and emissions

On Land Rover diesels such as the Td5, TDV6 and SDV6, soot and combustion deposits build up over time and can affect running and the diesel particulate filter.
