Sealing Grommet seals the aperture in the fuel tank top face around the fuel pump or tank sender unit.

It sits between the pump or sender flange and the tank body, forming the fuel- and vapour-tight seal at the opening while isolating the metal flange from the tank face. On installations carrying a fuel cut-off valve it performs the same sealing duty at that aperture.

Fuel-resistant rubber. A new grommet should be fitted whenever the pump or sender unit is disturbed, as the original compresses and takes a permanent set in service.
