Brand Terrafirma
Drive Flange Nut - replacement centre nut for the heavy-duty thin-type drive flange, black finish.

The drive flange sits at the outer end of the front axle half-shaft and transmits drive to the hub. This nut threads into the centre of the flange and seats against an O-ring, closing the flange and keeping water and dirt out of the hub bore.

Supplied as a single nut for the black TF859B flange. The matching seal is TF859O-RING; renew it whenever the nut is disturbed.

Frequently asked questions

What is the TF859BN drive flange nut?
The TF859BN is the replacement black centre nut for the Terrafirma heavy-duty drive flange (TF859B) and driving member (TF5806B). It threads into the centre of the flange and seats against an O-ring, closing the flange at the outer end of the front axle half-shaft.
Which drive flange does the TF859BN suit?
The TF859BN suits the Terrafirma heavy-duty thin-type drive flange TF859B and driving member TF5806B. It's the centre nut for those units, typically fitted to front axles on Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic. Verify against your existing flange.
Should the O-ring be replaced when fitting the TF859BN?
Yes, it's good practice to renew the drive flange O-ring (TF859O-RING) whenever the TF859BN nut is removed, since the nut seats against it to seal the hub. A fresh O-ring keeps water and dirt out of the flange.
