Limited Slip Rear Axle Oil, supplied in a 1 litre container.

A hypoid gear oil for rear drive units fitted with a limited-slip differential. The additive package is formulated for the friction surfaces of the differential clutch pack as well as for the sliding tooth contact of hypoid crown wheel and pinion gearing, so that the unit locks and releases smoothly.

Using a standard hypoid oil in a limited-slip unit commonly produces shudder or chatter on tight, low-speed turns. Fill only with the fluid specified for the drive unit, and check the stated fill quantity, as more than one container may be needed.
