Front Brake Pad Set for the front disc brake and caliper assembly, supplied as a front axle set.

The pads sit in the front caliper carriers and are clamped against the front brake discs by the caliper pistons, generating the greater part of the vehicle's braking effort. Backplate geometry and friction area are specific to the 17" front brake package, which runs a 325 mm front disc; pads for other front brake sizes are not interchangeable.

Renew pads as a complete axle set so braking effort stays balanced side to side, and inspect the discs, caliper slide pins and pad wear sensor wiring while the brakes are apart.
