Washer Fluid Level Sensor for the windscreen washer system.

The sensor fits into the washer fluid reservoir and monitors the volume of fluid remaining. When the level falls below the set threshold the sensor switches and a low washer fluid warning is raised in the instrument cluster.

A failed sensor commonly presents as a permanent low fluid warning with a full reservoir, or as no warning at all once the reservoir has run dry.
