PCV Valve Service Kit for the crankcase ventilation circuit of the 2.0L Ingenium petrol engine (AJ200 / AJ20P4).

The positive crankcase ventilation valve regulates the flow of blow-by gases drawn out of the crankcase and returned to the engine intake, holding crankcase pressure within its controlled range as intake depression varies with engine load. A perished valve diaphragm lets excessive depression act on the crankcase, which typically shows as raised oil consumption, an unstable idle and unmetered air entering the intake tract.

Supplied as a service kit for renewal of the valve assembly.
