Brake pad for the rear disc brake assembly.

The pads locate in the rear caliper and are clamped hydraulically against the brake disc, converting the vehicle's momentum into heat under braking.

Pad friction material is a normal wear item. Pads should be renewed across a complete axle at the same time, with the disc friction faces, caliper slide pins and piston seals inspected during the same operation.
