Piston assembly - piston for the AJ133 5.0L supercharged V8 petrol engine, in the standard (nominal production) bore size.

The piston runs in the cylinder bore of the block and transfers combustion pressure through the connecting rod to the crankshaft. Its crown form and compression height are specific to the supercharged build of the AJ133; the naturally aspirated 5.0 V8 uses a different piston and the two are not interchangeable.

Standard size suits a bore that remains within specification or has only been honed. A rebored block requires oversize pistons.
