Crankshaft Sprocket Washer from the engine timing drive, fitted at the front of the crankshaft beneath the drive sprocket retaining bolt.

It spreads the clamping load of the retaining bolt across the sprocket face and provides the bearing surface the bolt torques against, keeping the crankshaft drive sprocket and auxiliary drive correctly clamped. Used on the V8 petrol and supercharged V6 petrol engines.
