Oil Cooler - the oil-to-coolant heat exchanger of the engine's Oil Cooler and Filter assembly.

Engine coolant is passed through the cooler core to draw heat out of the pressurised oil circuit, holding oil temperature and viscosity within their working range under sustained load. Fitted to the AJ133 5.0L V8 petrol and the 3.0L supercharged V6 petrol engines.

The cooler seals to its mounting face with a separate gasket (LR010770), which should be renewed whenever the cooler is removed.
