Fuel Injector Pressure Sensor - high-pressure fuel rail sensor in the direct-injection fuel supply circuit.

It measures the fuel pressure in the injector rail and reports it to the engine management system, which uses the signal for closed-loop control of the high-pressure fuel pump and to calculate injector opening time. A failed or drifting sensor typically shows as fuel-pressure fault codes, hard starting or a loss of power.

For direct-injection petrol engines - 5.0L V8 (AJ133) naturally aspirated and supercharged, and the 3.0L supercharged V6.
