Tyre Pressure Sensor for the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Mounted at the wheel valve, the sensor measures the pressure inside the tyre and transmits the reading by radio frequency to the vehicle's TPMS receiver, warning the driver of under-inflation. This is the early-generation TPMS sensor and is not interchangeable with the later system.

Is this the early or late TPMS sensor?
This is the early-generation TPMS sensor and is not interchangeable with the later 2010-on system. If your vehicle was built from 2010, this sensor won't work with its TPMS. It suits the original system on Discovery 3, Range Rover L322 and Range Rover Sport L320 up to the 2009 model year.
