Throttle Body for the air intake system of the 4.4L V8 diesel engine.

The electronically actuated throttle valve regulates intake airflow into the manifold. On this diesel application it works chiefly to deliver smooth, shudder-free engine shutdown and to support exhaust gas recirculation by controlling intake depression. An integrated motor positions the throttle plate in response to commands from the engine control module.

The unit installs between the intake ducting and the inlet manifold.
