Ride Height Sensor for electronic air suspension.

Mounted between the body and a suspension arm, it measures the vertical position of the axle and feeds the ride-height signal to the air suspension ECU, which regulates air spring pressure to maintain the set ride height. This later (10MY) sensor supersedes the earlier type: its three-pin connector is compatible with the previous six-pin wiring, and it fits both the left- and right-hand sides.

Frequently asked questions

What does the ride height sensor do on a Range Rover L322?
The ride height sensor measures the vertical position of the axle and feeds the ride-height signal to the air suspension ECU, which regulates air spring pressure to hold the set height. It mounts between the body and a suspension arm on the Range Rover L322.
Does this later sensor replace the earlier six-pin type?
Yes. This later 10MY sensor supersedes the earlier type. Its three-pin connector is compatible with the previous six-pin wiring, and it fits both the left- and right-hand sides.
What are the signs a ride height sensor needs replacing?
A faulty ride height sensor typically triggers suspension fault warnings, incorrect height adjustment or an uneven stance. Faults are usually logged against the affected corner on the air suspension module.
How do I confirm this fits my Range Rover L322?
This sensor fits the Range Rover L322 air suspension from VIN 4A174108 to 9A999999. Check your VIN against that range to confirm before ordering.
