Cylinder Head Cover (Camshaft Cover) for the 5.0L V8 AJ133 petrol engine, naturally aspirated and supercharged applications.

The cover bolts to the top of the cylinder head and encloses the camshafts and valvetrain. It seals engine oil within the head, keeps out contaminants, and provides the mounting face for the cover gasket and the crankcase breather/oil-filler provisions.

For petrol V8 applications only.

Why would a camshaft cover need replacing?
A camshaft cover typically needs replacing when it cracks or its gasket perishes, leading to oil leaks down the side of the engine or oil pooling around the spark plugs. Fitting a fresh cover gasket at the same time is normal practice to seal it properly.
