Relay - Normally Open is a plug-in make-contact relay used in the vehicle fuse and relay panel.
The relay closes its high-current main contacts only while the low-current control coil is energised, allowing a switch, timer or control module to command a heavy load without carrying the working current itself. Normally open means the load circuit is isolated whenever the coil is unpowered.
It mounts directly into a standard relay base; the circuit it serves depends on the vehicle's electrical specification, and the same relay type is used for lighting, heating and pump circuits.
