Exhaust Valve for the cylinder head of the 5.0L V8 petrol engine (AJ133), naturally aspirated and supercharged.

It seals the exhaust port against combustion pressure and opens to release spent gas into the exhaust manifold, running against the seat in the cylinder head and carried by the valve guide and stem seal. Exhaust valves run considerably hotter than the inlet side, so the seat face and stem are the areas to inspect when a head is refurbished.
