Throttle Body and Motor - the electronic throttle assembly in the engine air intake system, mounted between the intake air ducting and the inlet manifold.

The integral electric motor sets the throttle plate position on command from the engine management system rather than by cable, and the built-in position sensor reports plate angle back to the engine ECU. The assembly therefore governs the volume of air admitted to the manifold.

Supplied complete as body and motor, for the 5.0L V8 AJ133 petrol engine, naturally aspirated and supercharged.
