Coolant Overflow Hose from the engine cooling system pipes and hoses assembly. It runs from the bleed connection at the top of the radiator to the coolant expansion tank.

Air displaced from the cooling circuit and any coolant carried with it are returned to the expansion tank through this hose, so the system vents itself as coolant temperature and pressure rise and fall. A split, hardened or perished hose here shows up as a slowly dropping coolant level and trapped air in the circuit.

For the 5.0L V8 naturally-aspirated petrol engine (AJ133).
