Windscreen Washer Pump - the combined motor and pump unit mounted in the washer reservoir, part of the Windscreen Wash and Wipe system.

When the washer stalk is operated the pump delivers screenwash under pressure to the windscreen and rear screen jets. A pump that hums without delivering fluid, or is silent altogether, is the usual cause of a complete loss of washer function on both screens.

This unit is for vehicles built without headlamp power wash, which uses a separate higher-output pump.
