Air Conditioning Condenser - the heat exchanger in the air conditioning refrigerant circuit, mounted in the front cooling pack assembly.

It receives high-pressure refrigerant vapour from the compressor and rejects heat to the passing air, condensing the refrigerant to a liquid before it passes on to the receiver/drier and expansion device. Fitted to 3.6L V8 32V DOHC EFi diesel applications.

Damaged, corroded or blocked fins and tubes reduce cooling performance and can lead to refrigerant leaks; inspect the condenser whenever the air conditioning system is serviced.
