Head Gasket for the right-hand cylinder bank of the 4.4L DOHC V8 turbo diesel (TDV8) engine.

Seals the joint between the right-hand cylinder head and the engine block, containing combustion pressure while separating the coolant and oil galleries that cross the head-to-block face. Supplied for the right-hand bank only; the left-hand bank uses its own gasket.

The LR022899 head gasket seals the right-hand cylinder head to the block on the 4.4L V8 diesel engine. It contains combustion pressure and seals the oil and coolant passages between head and block.
Which side and which engine does this head gasket fit?
This is the right-hand (RH) cylinder head gasket for the 4.4L V8 diesel only. It fits Range Rover L322 (2010-2012), L405 (2013 on) and Range Rover Sport L320 (2010-2013) and L494 (2014 on), from VIN BA000001.
Do I need the left-hand gasket as well?
The 4.4L V8 has separate left and right cylinder head gaskets. This part covers the RH bank only. If both heads are being worked on, you'll need the matching LH gasket too. Head gaskets are single-use, always fit new.
