Fuel Injector Refit Kit - the seals and retainer required when removing and refitting a fuel injector on 3.0L V6 and 5.0L V8 supercharged petrol engines.

The kit contains the O-ring, Teflon seal and retainer for one injector, renewing the fuel-tight seal between the injector and the cylinder head. One kit is required per injector; the seals should not be reused once an injector has been disturbed.

What is the injector refit kit?
The injector refit kit contains the seals and retainer needed to remove and refit one fuel injector on 3.0L V6 and 5.0L V8 supercharged petrol engines. It renews the O-ring, Teflon seal and retainer for a fuel-tight seal at the cylinder head. This is the Elring OEM kit.
How many injector refit kits do I need?
You need one injector refit kit per injector, so a V6 needs six and a V8 needs eight for a full set. Each kit does a single injector, so order the quantity to match the injectors you're disturbing on your petrol engine.
Do injector seals have to be renewed when refitting?
Yes, the injector O-ring, Teflon seal and retainer are single-use and should be renewed whenever an injector is removed on the 3.0 V6 SC or 5.0 V8 petrol. Reusing old seals typically causes fuel or combustion leaks at the injector bore.
