Brake Disc is a vented front brake rotor for the front-axle braking assembly.

The disc mounts to the front hub and rotates with the wheel. The brake caliper clamps its friction pads against both faces of the disc to convert the vehicle's kinetic energy into heat and slow the wheel. Internal cooling vanes between the two braking faces draw air through the disc to dissipate that heat under sustained or heavy braking, resisting brake fade and helping to prevent thermal distortion of the disc.

Replacement in axle sets, together with fresh pads, is normal practice to maintain even braking.
