Air Duct - moulded intake duct forming part of the air cleaner assembly on the 4.4L AJ V8 petrol engine.

The duct routes ambient intake air into the air cleaner housing ahead of the filter element, maintaining a sealed path so that all air drawn into the engine passes through the filter. A split, collapsed or poorly seated duct admits unfiltered air, raises induction noise and can disturb the metered airflow signal further downstream.
