Anti-Roll Bar Link - Front is a drop link in the front stabilizer bar assembly.

The link connects the end of the front anti-roll bar to the front suspension, feeding suspension travel on one side into the bar as torsional load. Without it the bar cannot resist body roll, and the front end feels loose and vague in corners.

One link is fitted at each end of the bar. Play in the link joints is a common source of knocking from the front over uneven surfaces; replace links as a pair so that both sides load the bar equally.

Frequently asked questions

What is the front anti-roll bar link used for?
The front anti-roll bar link connects the anti-roll bar to the suspension, controlling body roll during cornering. It fits the Discovery 3 (2005-2009), Discovery 4 (2010-2016), and Range Rover Sport L320 (2005-2013). Worn links typically cause knocking noises over bumps.
How many anti-roll bar links do I need?
Anti-roll bar links are typically replaced in pairs, one per side, so two are usually needed for a complete front axle job. Replacing both keeps handling balanced even when only one side has failed.
What are the signs a front anti-roll bar link needs replacing?
A failing front anti-roll bar link usually shows as knocking or rattling over uneven surfaces, vague steering, and more body roll in corners. On the Discovery 3, Discovery 4 and Range Rover Sport L320, worn ball joints in the link are the common failure point.
