Front Brake Caliper Carrier - machined adaptor that mounts the front brake caliper to the hub carrier.

The carrier bolts to the suspension upright; the caliper then bolts to the carrier, which sets the caliper's alignment over the disc and takes the braking torque into the hub. Because the carrier fixes that geometry it is specific to the brake package fitted, and must match the caliper and the disc diameter on the vehicle.

Replacement is normally driven by corroded or distorted seating faces, or by damaged mounting threads.
