Parking Brake Cable Clip - retaining clip from the parking brake cable installation.

The clip secures the parking brake cable outer sheath to its mounting point on the underbody, fixing the cable routing so that lever movement is transmitted to the brake rather than absorbed by the cable moving in its run. Correct retention also holds the cable clear of the suspension, exhaust and driveshafts.

These clips are frequently broken or lost during parking brake cable, shoe or caliper work, and a missing clip allows the cable to chafe or foul moving components.
