Rear Output Shaft Oil Seal for the ZF 6HP26 and 6HP28 six-speed automatic transmission.

It seals the point where the output shaft leaves the rear of the transmission housing on its way to the transfer box input, retaining transmission fluid and keeping road dirt and water out of the extension housing. A failure at this seal shows as fluid loss at the gearbox-to-transfer-box joint.
