Exhaust Mounting is a moulded rubber hanger that suspends the exhaust system from the vehicle underbody, supporting the silencer and intermediate pipe sections.

The rubber body locates between a hook or pin on the exhaust bracket and a matching point on the body, carrying the weight of the exhaust while isolating engine and road vibration. Its flexibility also allows the system to expand and move freely through normal thermal cycling.
