Leak Detection Pump - diagnostic module for the fuel tank evaporative emission (EVAP) system.

Mounted at the fuel tank and connected into the vapour circuit alongside the charcoal canister, it pressurises the sealed tank and vapour lines during an engine-off self-test and monitors the current drawn by its own motor. A pressure that will not build, or that decays once established, tells the engine management that a leak is present; the fault is stored and normally lights the malfunction indicator lamp.

This is the variant for the original fuel tank with three vent pipes. Confirm the vent pipe arrangement on the tank before ordering.
