Halogen Bulb, H8 - 12V 35W single-filament halogen capsule for the exterior lighting system.

The H8 uses the PGJ19-1 base and is the 35W member of the H8/H9/H11 group. Those three types share a similar envelope and connector family, but their base keying and rated wattage differ, so they cannot be substituted for one another. The H8 is specified for front lamp positions - fog and front flasher applications - where a compact, low-wattage halogen source is required.

Handle the quartz envelope by the base only. Skin oils transferred to the glass form hot spots in service and shorten bulb life; if the glass is touched, clean it with alcohol before fitting.
