Parts for the Range Rover Sport L461, the third-generation Sport built on the MLA-Flex platform and in production from 2022. This collection covers L461 only and does not include Range Rover Sport L494 parts or earlier Sport generations. Genuine, OEM, and aftermarket options are available for PHEV and MHEV variants.
The Range Rover Sport L461 is the third generation of Land Rover's Sport nameplate. Revealed by Land Rover in May 2022 and built on the MLA-Flex platform shared with the Range Rover L460, the L461 represents a significant engineering departure from its predecessor, the L494. The architecture supports a range of Ingenium petrol mild-hybrid (MHEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and V8 powertrains. EU market PHEV variants include the P440e, P510e, P460e, and P550e. All variants use the ZF 8HP automatic gearbox.
This collection covers parts for the L461 generation only. If you are looking for parts for the first generation, see Range Rover Sport L320 parts. For the broader Range Rover family, see Range Rover parts.
Reference note: The L461 was officially revealed by Land Rover on 10 May 2022. Full production and market availability details are documented in the Land Rover Media Centre.
Fitment GuidanceThe Range Rover Sport L461 shares the Range Rover Sport name with two earlier generations. Before ordering, confirm your vehicle is the third-generation L461 and not the L494 (2013 to 2022) or L320 (2005 to 2013). The quickest method is your VIN. On any Land Rover, the 10th character of the 17-digit VIN identifies the model year. For the L461, production vehicles carry model year codes from 2022 onward. If you are unsure of your generation, your VIN plate is located on the driver's side A-pillar, or on a chassis plate near the bulkhead, depending on market variant.
Part numbers on the L461 are not interchangeable with L494 components in most categories, particularly suspension, cooling, and hybrid drivetrain parts. Always verify the part number against your VIN or chassis code before ordering.
Catalogue ScopeThe parts in this collection are tagged to the L461 generation and cover the key service and replacement categories for this platform:
Suspension and steering. The MLA-Flex platform uses a double-wishbone front suspension and integral link rear suspension. Suspension components on the L461 are not shared with the L494, which used a different architecture. Parts in this area include wishbone assemblies, ball joints, bushes, and associated hardware.
Hybrid cooling and fluid management. PHEV variants carry additional cooling demands for the high-voltage battery pack, electric motor, and power electronics. Coolant pipes, overflow tanks, and thermostat-related components relevant to the L461 cooling circuit are available in this collection.
Ingenium engine service parts. The 3.0-litre Ingenium petrol engine fitted across MHEV and PHEV variants requires scheduled maintenance including oil changes, air filtration, and fuel system servicing. Service consumables and filter kits compatible with L461 Ingenium fitments are listed in this collection when available.
Brake system components. L461 brake components are geometry and specification-specific to this generation. The collection includes brake hardware, sensors, and cleaning consumables including MPM brake cleaner kits suitable for professional workshop use.
Fasteners, fixings, and workshop consumables. A broad range of OEM-grade nuts, bolts, studs, gaskets, and workshop items is available in this collection for the L461. These are particularly relevant for workshop trade buyers maintaining L461 vehicles at volume.
Quality TiersParts in this collection are available across three quality tiers, filterable using the quality selector above the product grid.
Genuine parts are manufactured by or for Land Rover and carry the original part number. These are the correct choice when exact OEM specification is required, particularly for safety-critical components and warranty-adjacent work.
OEM parts are produced by the same tier-one manufacturers that supply the original assembly lines, but are sold outside the Land Rover supply chain. These parts meet the same specifications and are widely used by independent workshops across the EU.
Aftermarket parts are third-party alternatives that meet the service specification for the application. Quality varies by brand and category. Budget Parts stocks aftermarket lines selected for fit and function across European workshop conditions.
TradeBudget Parts operates a trade account system for independent workshops, fleet operators, and parts resellers. Trade accounts provide access to volume pricing on Land Rover and Range Rover parts including the L461 range. The wholesale portal is accessible via the header on this site. For workshop-specific enquiries, contact the Gouda or Drachten locations directly.
The L461 is a relatively recent platform and is now appearing regularly in independent workshop bays across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and wider Europe. As the vehicle population ages out of main dealer warranty, demand for independent sourcing of L461 parts continues to grow.
Technical GuidesThe following guides cover systems and components relevant to the Range Rover Sport L461 and broader Land Rover platform.
Cooling system faults carry additional complexity on PHEV variants due to the dual thermal management requirements of the L461's hybrid circuit. This guide covers the diagnostic process for cooling faults before parts are ordered.
Land Rover overheating diagnosis guide →Electronic parking brake faults are found across modern Land Rover and Range Rover platforms. This guide covers the diagnosis process, common root causes, and the components typically involved in a correct repair.
Land Rover EPB failure guide →Ball joint service is a routine maintenance item on double-wishbone suspension platforms. This guide covers identification, testing, and replacement guidance applicable to independently suspended Land Rover and Range Rover models including the L461.
Land Rover ball joint failure guide →In most categories, no. The L461 is built on the MLA-Flex platform, while the L494 used a different platform architecture. Suspension geometry, cooling system routing, and hybrid drivetrain components are not shared between generations. Always verify the part number against your specific VIN before ordering. If you are sourcing L494 parts, those are listed separately under the Range Rover Sport L494 parts collection.
This collection covers the third-generation Range Rover Sport only, chassis code L461, in production from 2022. It does not cover the L494 (2013 to 2022) or the L320 (2005 to 2013). If you are unsure of your generation, check the 10th character of your VIN to confirm the model year, or look for the L461 designation on your vehicle documentation.
Yes. The L461 is available in four PHEV configurations for the EU market: P440e, P510e, P460e, and P550e. These variants carry additional cooling components, hybrid-specific sensors, and drivetrain hardware that differ from the MHEV variants. Where parts are PHEV-specific, this is indicated in the product listing. Confirm your exact variant using your VIN before ordering hybrid drivetrain or cooling components.
The ZF 8HP is an eight-speed automatic gearbox fitted to all L461 variants. It is also used across a wide range of other Land Rover and Range Rover models. Gearbox-adjacent parts such as ATF fluid, sensors, and associated hardware may be compatible across platforms, but confirmation against your VIN and variant is always recommended before ordering.
The most reliable method is your 17-digit VIN, which encodes your exact model year, engine variant, and build specification. Use the search function on this site to look up parts by part number, or contact Budget Parts directly with your VIN for confirmation. For components in the suspension, cooling, and hybrid drivetrain categories, always verify fitment before ordering as these are generation-specific on the L461.
Yes. Budget Parts ships Land Rover and Range Rover parts from stock in the Netherlands to customers across the EU including Germany, Belgium, France, Sweden, and other European markets. In-stock items are dispatched same-day when ordered before 15:00. Stock availability and delivery timelines are shown on individual product pages.
