Head Gasket Set for the AJ133 5.0L V8 petrol engine in naturally aspirated form, covering the cylinder head to cylinder block joint.

The head gasket seals the combustion chambers, coolant galleries and oil feed passages between the cylinder head and the block, maintaining compression and preventing cross-leakage between the cooling and lubrication circuits. It is renewed whenever a cylinder head is removed or a compression or coolant loss fault is traced to the head joint.

The naturally aspirated and supercharged builds of the AJ133 engine use different cylinder head gasket specifications. Confirm the engine build before fitting. Cylinder head bolts are single-use and must be renewed and tightened to the specified sequence and torque on reassembly.
