Valve Cover Stud and Sleeve from the cylinder head cover fixings of the petrol V8 and supercharged V6 engines.

The stud threads into the cylinder head and provides the fixing point for the camshaft (valve) cover. Its sleeve locates in the cover boss and acts as a compression limiter, controlling how far the cover is drawn down as the fixing is tightened so that the cover seal is loaded to a set height.

Supplied as a stud complete with its sleeve.
