Spark Plug Aperture Gasket seals the spark plug aperture in the cylinder head cover on the left hand cylinder bank.

It closes the joint between the cover and the spark plug well, keeping engine oil out of the aperture so that it cannot reach the spark plug and ignition coil. For petrol applications only; it is not used on diesel engines.
