Crankshaft Seal and Retainer - the rear crankshaft oil seal complete with its retainer housing, sealing the rear of the crankshaft where it exits the engine block at the flywheel end.

For the 3.0L V6 diesel engine. The seal prevents oil escaping between the crankshaft and the block; supplying it pre-mounted in the retainer keeps the seal correctly aligned to the crankshaft on refitting.
