Accessory Drive Belt for the front end accessory drive of the 2.0L Ingenium four-cylinder engine (AJ200 / AJ20P4, petrol and diesel applications).

The multi-ribbed belt runs from the crankshaft pulley around the belt-driven engine ancillaries, guided and tensioned by the automatic tensioner and idler pulleys. Correct belt profile and length are critical: the ribs must seat fully in the pulley grooves for the drive to transmit torque without slip or tracking off.

Belt condition is a routine service inspection item. Rib cracking, glazing, edge fraying, missing rib material or contamination by oil or coolant all call for renewal. Check the tensioner and idler bearings for roughness and play while the belt is removed, since a tired tensioner will destroy a new belt and can allow it to be thrown.
