Centreerpen – Uitlijning van het bell housing in de versnellingsbak/motor-interface-assemblage.

Deze centreerpen positioneert de bell housing nauwkeurig ten opzichte van het motorblok, waardoor een correcte uitlijning van de ingaande as van de versnellingsbak met de krukas van de motor wordt gegarandeerd. Het wordt gebruikt in een breed scala aan toepassingen met handgeschakelde versnellingsbakken, waaronder 4-cilinder, V8, Td5 en BMW M52 2.8L motoren. Centreerpennen moeten worden geïnspecteerd op slijtage of beschadiging wanneer de versnellingsbak wordt verwijderd en moeten worden vervangen als ze loszitten, gecorrodeerd of vervormd zijn.
