Frequently asked questions

What does the Bonnet Striker Pin do?

The Bonnet Striker Pin is the pin the bonnet latch grips to hold the bonnet shut on the Range Rover Classic. It's part of the bonnet release and catch system, giving the latch a fixed point to lock onto when the bonnet is closed.

How many Bonnet Striker Pins do I need?

Typically one Bonnet Striker Pin is fitted per vehicle, paired with the bonnet catch. It's usually replaced when the pin is worn or bent and the bonnet no longer latches securely. This is a genuine Land Rover part.

Which Land Rover does this Bonnet Striker Pin fit?

This Bonnet Striker Pin fits the Range Rover Classic. It's a genuine Land Rover component (part 371422). Fitment on early Classic models is best confirmed against your VIN, as bonnet hardware changed over the production run.
