What does the RYF100420 ACE washer do?

The RYF100420 is a Dowty sealing washer for the Active Cornering Enhancement (ACE) hydraulic anti-roll system. It seals the union where an ACE hydraulic pipe meets the anti-roll bar actuator, stopping fluid leaking at the banjo connection. Fitted to Discovery 2, Range Rover L322 and Range Rover Sport (2005-2013) with ACE.

Can the ACE sealing washer be reused?

Sealing washers like this are typically single-use and should be replaced whenever you disturb the ACE hydraulic union. A reused washer often won't seal properly and can weep high-pressure fluid, which upsets the ACE system. Fit a new one each time the connection is opened.

How many ACE washers do I need?

You'll typically need one sealing washer per ACE pipe union you open, and often two where a banjo bolt seals on both sides. Count the connections you're disturbing on the actuator or pipe and order to suit. They're inexpensive, so it's worth replacing all the ones you disturb.
