Banjo bout voor de hydraulische olietoevoer van de distributiekettingspanner op Land Rover 2¼ liter en 2,0 liter dieselmotoren.

De banjobout is een holle bevestiging met een kruisboring die onder druk staande olie van de motorgalerij rechtstreeks naar het huis van de distributiekettingspanner leidt. De hydraulische druk bedient de spannerzuiger, waardoor de juiste spanning van de distributieketting over het gehele bedrijfsbereik van de motor wordt gehandhaafd.
