Bovenste veerisolator voor de spiraalvering. Dit rubberen zitvlak bevindt zich aan de bovenzijde van de spiraalveer, tussen de bovenkant van de veer en de veerschotel van het chassis.

Het dempt de veer tegen de carrosserie, voorkomt metaal-op-metaalcontact en isoleert weggeluid en trillingen van de spiraal. Een versleten of ontbrekende isolator zorgt ervoor dat de veer direct tegen het metaal komt te zitten, wat leidt tot klopgeluiden en versnelde slijtage.
